Law Office of Jacqueline M. Jacobson The Law Office of Jacqueline M. Jacobson was founded by Jacqueline M. Jacobson in May of 2008. Jacqueline has focused her practice since 2001 on workers' compensation law in Oregon. She has represented both injured workers and insurers/employers. She has also served as a staff attorney for the Oregon Workers' Compensation Board. Jacqueline is deeply committed to the rights of injured workers and represents injured workers exclusively in Oregon workers' compensation claims. Jacqueline decided to start her own firm to keep overhead costs down, allowing her to carry a smaller caseload in a high volume practice area. As a result, Jacqueline can provide more personalized attention to her clients and stay up-to-date on changes to the law. In addition, Jacqueline serves as a member of the Oregon State Bar Executive Committee and a member of the Salishan Planning Committee. She belongs to the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys, and Oregon Women Lawyers. Jacqueline is a graduate of Reed College and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. As a law student, Jacqueline worked as a Notes & Comments Editor for the Journal of Small & Emerging Business Law and was the recipient of the Best Brief Award. Jacqueline has practiced workers' compensation law since 2001 and has argued a significant number of cases before the Oregon Workers' Compensation Board and the Oregon Court of Appeals. |
